Owned by Julie and Scott Sparrow, Penn York Haven is located just six miles from Hancock, New York in Starlight, Pennsylvania on Penn York Road, also called the “River Road.” It is 3.2 miles downstream from Hale Eddy, less than half a mile downstream from the lower Game Lands access point, and one mile upstream from Balls Eddy, the next river public access point. Bring your own river boat—there's plenty room for parking—and we have kayaks for your use.
Nestled against a steep hillside on six acres of wooded land, Penn York Haven is adjacent to the Pennsylvania State Gameland parcel #299, which encompasses over 2500 acres of wooded habitat for deer, bear, turkey, and grouse. The "secret" trail to Starlight Pond up Faulkner Creek is nearby, too—a great hike for everyone!
